The MultiCom SpeedSurf is the secure way for private users or business networks to share high-speed access to the Internet over xDSL, cable or wireless modem links.

It provides a cost-effective way for an unlimited number of users to share a single IP address, while protecting your system against hackers.

The integrated firewall protects your computers from all kinds of unauthorized access, including External Intrusions, Denial of Service (DoS), Port Scanning and Spoofing Attacks. It reports attacks with Simple Intrusion Detection System (IDS) with Syslog. You can also configure the gateway to block specific users' access to the Internet.

The MultiCom SpeedSurf is ready to work with any PC, Macintosh or Unix computer with an Ethernet interface that runs TCP/IP, and can be installed, configured and managed in minutes through a Web browser.

The integrated firewall allows for IP packet filtering, NAT and PAT provides security masquerading all the addresses of your LAN behind the router address. Dynamic assignment of IP addresses is possible thanks to the integrated DHCP client and server. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows for easy configuration of the router while the Autoconfiguration tool provides an automatic configuration of the firewall.

The IPSec support option allows for Secure VPN support.
