Blowfish was the fastest algorithm in our tests but be sure to test yourself. Encryption overhead and speed may vary according to the types of packets, number of connections and other activities being carried out by the MultiCom Firewall.

However the decision to pick an algorithm is best made by the security it provides and not the speed.
