To see Syslog and SNMP messages you must...
  1. have configured the MultiCom Firewall to create these messages (configurable from the Configurator software.)
  2. have 3rd party software to read these messages, for example the Kiwi Syslog Daemon, ActiveSNMP or Router IP Console . (Optionally the Configurator software does have a built-in Syslog reader for testing purposes.)
These messages can be very useful when monitoring the status of the MultiCom Firewall.
