There are many ways to troubleshoot a MultiCom router. Below are some common troubleshooting commands that can be used in a telnet or console connection to the MultiCom router. Please check the Reference Manual for more information on these commands.
- DIAGNOSE - displays advanced diagnostics about your MultiCom
- INFO ARP - displays configuration and statistics for ARP
- INFO DHCP - displays the status and configuration of the DHCP server
- INFO IP - statistics for IP traffic to/ from the MultiCom and host IP information
- INFO IP FILTER - displays the filtering table as well as the packet counter associated to each filter
- INFO IP ROUTER - status of the IP router, statistics for routed IP traffic, and the routing table
- INFO IP TRANSLATION - displays the current status of IP translation and the translation table
- INFO ISDN - displays general ISDN information
- INFO ISDN HISTORY - displays the log of successful and unsuccessful ISDN connections
- INFO ISDN INTERFACE - gives low-level properties for each ISDN interface (such as Mode, TEI, SPID)
- INFO MEM - gives memory statistics
- INFO PPP - displays the PPP configuration and negotiation results in a synthetic format
- INFO PPP ALL - displays all statistics on PPP data traffic, LCP, PAP, CHAP, and the selected NCP's
- INFO SITE sitename - displays configuration information for the selected site
- INFO VERSION - displays software version information, the serial number, and installed options
- SITE STATS sitename - displays traffic and ISDN statistics for the selected site
